Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GFY Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GFY data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher GFY Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GFY expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC are the cancer types where GFY Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
