Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GDF10 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GDF10 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher GDF10 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GDF10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KICH, COAD, and SARC are the cancer types where GDF10 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
