Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GDE1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GDE1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher GDE1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GDE1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
READ are the cancer types where GDE1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
