Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GAPT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GAPT data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher GAPT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GAPT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and SARC are the cancer types where GAPT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
