Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GAPDH Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GAPDH data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher GAPDH Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GAPDH expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where GAPDH Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
