Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GAMT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GAMT data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher GAMT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GAMT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

ESCA and COAD are the cancer types where GAMT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
