Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GALK1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GALK1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher GALK1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GALK1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and SKCM show a favorable association.

SARC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where GALK1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
