Across TCGA patient cohorts, GAL3ST1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 13,100 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GAL3ST1-associated proteins across cancer lineages are SHTN1_S101, PLEKHA6_S808, and GDA. Each is linked with GAL3ST1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GAL3ST1-to-partner and partner-to-GAL3ST1 results are reported.
