GAL

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, GAL mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 64 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GAL-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNA5SP124, RNU4-58P, and RNU6-1066P. Each is linked with GAL in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GAL-to-partner and partner-to-GAL results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RNA5SP124 grouped by GAL-low versus GAL-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (GAL→partner) and Y-score (partner→GAL) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
