Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GABRA6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GABRA6 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher GABRA6 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GABRA6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and MESO show a favorable association.
COAD, READ, and UCS are the cancer types where GABRA6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
