Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GABRA6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GABRA6 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher GABRA6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GABRA6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
PAAD, UCEC, and ACC are the cancer types where GABRA6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
