Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FYN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FYN data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher FYN Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FYN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where FYN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
