Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FUCA2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FUCA2 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher FUCA2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FUCA2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, BLCA, and COAD are the cancer types where FUCA2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
