FTO

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, FTO mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7 significant associations in total. LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible FTO-associated genes across cancer lineages are ACSM6, IQCM, and FGF6. Each is linked with FTO in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both FTO-to-partner and partner-to-FTO results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, ACSM6 grouped by FTO-low versus FTO-high in LARGE_INTESTINE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (FTO→partner) and Y-score (partner→FTO) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
