Across TCGA patient cohorts, FMO5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,176 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible FMO5-associated genes across cancer lineages are LRRC31, CCT8P1, and SLC2A1. Each is linked with FMO5 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both FMO5-to-partner and partner-to-FMO5 results are reported.
