Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FLYWCH2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FLYWCH2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FLYWCH2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FLYWCH2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where FLYWCH2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
