Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FKBP1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FKBP1A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher FKBP1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FKBP1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where FKBP1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
