Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FIGNL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FIGNL1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher FIGNL1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FIGNL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where FIGNL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
