Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FICD mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FICD data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher FICD mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FICD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.

UCEC, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where FICD mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
