Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGF7 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FGF7 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher FGF7 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGF7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where FGF7 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
