Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGF4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FGF4 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher FGF4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGF4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where FGF4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
