Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGF20 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FGF20 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FGF20 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGF20 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LIHC, and STAD are the cancer types where FGF20 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
