Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGF13 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FGF13 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher FGF13 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGF13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and LAML show a favorable association.

LGG, LAML, and LIHC are the cancer types where FGF13 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
