Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGF13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FGF13 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher FGF13 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGF13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
PAAD and LUAD are the cancer types where FGF13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
