Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGD5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FGD5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher FGD5 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGD5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, LUSC, and READ are the cancer types where FGD5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
