Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FER1L4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FER1L4 data layer compared with 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher FER1L4 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FER1L4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, MESO, and KIRP are the cancer types where FER1L4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
