Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FER1L4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FER1L4 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher FER1L4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FER1L4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.

PDAC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where FER1L4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
