Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FDPS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FDPS data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher FDPS Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FDPS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and UCEC are the cancer types where FDPS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
