Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FCMR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FCMR data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FCMR Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FCMR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, KIRP, and SARC are the cancer types where FCMR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
