Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FCGBP RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FCGBP data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FCGBP RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FCGBP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and UVM show a favorable association.
HNSC, UVM, and OV are the cancer types where FCGBP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
