Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FBXW11 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of FBXW11’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where FBXW11 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types FBXW11 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, LUSC, and CHOL are the cancer types where FBXW11 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
