Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAT1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher FAT1 Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, LIHC, and READ are the cancer types where FAT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
