Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FANCE Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FANCE data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher FANCE Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FANCE expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, KIRC, and BLCA are the cancer types where FANCE Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
