Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FANCD2P2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of FANCD2P2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where FANCD2P2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types FANCD2P2 is over-expressed in tumor.

LUSC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where FANCD2P2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
