The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FAM8A6P RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM8A6P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and ACC are the cancer types where FAM8A6P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
