Across TCGA patient cohorts, FAM89A RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 17,753 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible FAM89A-associated proteins across cancer lineages are TMOD2, NUMBL, and RASA3. Each is linked with FAM89A in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both FAM89A-to-partner and partner-to-FAM89A results are reported.
