Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM86C1P Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM86C1P data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher FAM86C1P Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM86C1P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, HNSC, and BRCA are the cancer types where FAM86C1P Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
