Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM83F Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM83F data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher FAM83F Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM83F expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where FAM83F Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
