Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM83E Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM83E data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FAM83E Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM83E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where FAM83E Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
