Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM83E mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM83E data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher FAM83E mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM83E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LSCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where FAM83E mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
