Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM83C-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM83C-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher FAM83C-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM83C-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and PAAD show a favorable association.

COAD, UVM, and ACC are the cancer types where FAM83C-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
