Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM81B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM81B data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher FAM81B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM81B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where FAM81B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
