Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM76B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM76B data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher FAM76B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM76B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, COAD, and LGG are the cancer types where FAM76B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
