Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM74A1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM74A1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher FAM74A1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM74A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

STAD, COAD, and LGG are the cancer types where FAM74A1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
