Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM239B RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM239B data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher FAM239B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM239B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and OV show a favorable association.

LUAD, DLBC, and KIRP are the cancer types where FAM239B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
