FAM238B

Mutation & survival
SurvivalMutationKaplan–Meier · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM238B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM238B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher FAM238B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM238B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LGG and GBM are the cancer types where FAM238B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.

Mutation survival associations by lineage

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
