Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM230B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM230B data layer compared with 12 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher FAM230B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM230B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, CHOL, and OV are the cancer types where FAM230B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
