Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM224A RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM224A data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher FAM224A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM224A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and GBM show a favorable association.
UCEC, ACC, and LIHC are the cancer types where FAM224A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
