Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM21FP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM21FP data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FAM21FP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM21FP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and COAD are the cancer types where FAM21FP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
