Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM21EP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM21EP data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher FAM21EP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM21EP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where FAM21EP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
